Maseno Centre For Applied Artificial Intelligence
The Maseno Centre for Applied Artificial Intelligence (MCA2I) is based at Maseno University, Kenya and is hosted in the School of Computing and Informatics. The centre pioneers multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary research that is data-driven and geared towards developing solutions for local challenges using technology ranging from Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Data Science and analytics.
Excellence in interdisciplinary and cross-cutting research for accessible solutions.
To advance multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary research to solve local challenges
The simulation of human intelligence in machines that are programmed to think, learn, and problem-solve.
Enables computers to learn from data and make decisions without being explicitly programmed. It focuses on developing algorithms that can identify patterns, make predictions, and improve their performance over time.
Is an interdisciplinary field that combines statistics, machine learning, data analysis, and domain expertise to extract meaningful insights from structured and unstructured data.
