Overview
SmartVoice is a community voice data platform for Kikuyu and Kalenjin that supports contributor onboarding, qualification, ASR recording, TTS capture, review pipelines, and lead-level governance.
The system keeps data quality and contributor safety at the centre of the workflow. Contributors complete profiles and consent, pass a voice qualification, are assigned to ASR or TTS work, and submit recordings that pass a browser and server quality gate before they count toward the corpus.
